A visit to Santa!

4 moms + 6 little boys = a super fun Christmas night!

The wonderful Mrs. K invited us over for a fun afternoon of singing Christmas carols, eating cookies, sipping hot cocoa and visiting. It was our second year attending this great annual event! Afterward, a group of us made our way out into the chilly night to see the "Living Nativity." It is a beautiful production put on by the Granite Creek Community Church and is free to all.

It was wonderful. This is something we will be doing next year for sure!

What a delicious day!

The second to last day of school before Christmas break, Brandon's class had a yummy pancake breakfast followed by decorating gingerbread men later in the day. It was great to be there and help make fun shaped pancakes!

A little walk through the neighborhoood...

Today the first graders took a fun field trip, walking and surveying the holiday decorations in the neighborhood. They made tally marks on a chart that would show how many Christmas trees, wreaths, reindeer, ect. they found. We even sang Christmas carols! It was a blast!



Brandon was very tired by the end of this 1 and a half hour walk! But of course not too tired to go out and play at lunch right after the trip! ;)

The cutest cattle you've ever seen!

The primary children went to an old folks home to sing Christmas songs and spread holiday cheer. As they sang the "Nativity Song" each child came forward dressed in costume, representing someone or something from that holy night when Christ was born. Brandon was the cattle! He was very excited to crawl around on all fours the entire time! It was hard to get a good picture of him because he was so low to the ground. :) Even though he was quite apprehensive in the beginning, Brandon quickly warmed up to the environment and the sweet people there. He sang his lil heart out. Totally precious.
Like I said, the cutest cattle ever!
