last week of school, 3 piggy opera and good-bye to first grade!

The last week of school was so much fun for Brandon. The teacher planned a fun activity to do each day of the last week. These activities were- boardgames, movie and popcorn, ice cream party and pizza party!
I can't see any ice cream in that bowl!

Every child in the class received a friendship bracelet from Mrs. Hansen. She is wonderful.
Here is London, Becca, Brandon Richard and Kiernan. This was cousin London's last day of first grade. She and her family were off to a Harry Potter adventure in Florida a couple days before school ended. It was an emotional day for me. Having Brandon and London in the same class for two years has been a dream come true. Brandon is so lucky to have such amazing cousins who love him.
The whole class, right after they presented Mrs. Hansen with the "end-of-year" gift.
Goofy!
I LOVE this silly face.
Brandon was a narrator for the first grade presentation of "The Three Piggy Opera." He did a great job. He told me that he was chosen to be one of the 5 narrators because he "reads with expression." :)

and here is Brandon on his last day of first grade. Wow! What a difference.
Mrs. Hansen has been such an amazing teacher. We LOVE her! I can hardly believe that first grade is really over. On to our new adventures in second grade!
