The most special thing about Friday was that Brandon's Nana came to help out! She is the best Nana in the world! Thanks for coming mom! I could not have made 50+ banana splits without you and Wendy!

This week Brandon was chosen to be the "Top Banana." Each kindergarten child has the opportunity to have this special title. When his name was picked, he couldn't have been more excited! We made a poster all about him over the weekend and he got to share it in front of the class. Each day this week he gets to choose something special from home to talk about and show his friends at school. Other "banana" privileges include: line leader, teacher's helper and bringing the "zero the hero" treat! Brandon is going to surprise his class with banana splits on Friday! As you can see he is sporting his awesome yellow shirt that announces to everyone, "I'm the Top Banana!" He never wants this week to end.

I will never understand why boys like such gross things! Brandon had to have this "candy tongue" the other day. He ate the candy part and still has the fangs! Perfect to scare mommy!

Every Friday, an awesome fifth grade class comes to Mrs. K's room for "big buddies." Each kindergarten child has a fifth grade friend that they have assigned to them. The buddies read together, play games, and just have fun interacting. It is a wonderful program and Brandon just loves his big buddy Aaron to pieces! Brandon has received three beautiful drawings from Aaron and we always hang them up in his room at home. Thanks Aaron! You rock!
We had a great time at the annual Harvest Festival. We ate hotdogs and hamburgers, made crafts, picked out a pumpkin, bought glow sticks and hung out with friends from school. Brandon had so much fun!
