Fun in Arrowhead!

We went up to Arrowhead with the Milius family for a fun day of sledding at our cabin! Brandon had such a blast!

Having a great time on the swing grandpa made!

We had to go down and feed the ducks on the lake.

Brandon and his new sled! By the end of the day he was tired and cold but he really did have an awesome time. Can't wait to go back in two weeks!

Trip to Utah for New Year's!

We went to Utah to celebrate New Year's! It was a blast in the snow! Brandon could not get enough of these little yummy treats...icicles! Ha!

Enjoying some brownie mix while relaxing at Papa John's condo.

We got to eat at Cafe Rio 3 times! The best food EVER!
Tons and tons of shopping at the Gateway! Brandon was a pretty good sport about it. A little bribery from Build-A-Bear never hurts! ;)
We went to see the new Chipmunks movie and loved every minute of it.
Eating snow. My boy seriously could not get over how fun this white stuff was! Such a So Cal kid.

Hello 2010!

On New Year's Day we went out for a snowball fight.
And made a snowman. He has a Mohawk!

Brandon and I made snow angels. He gave his a face and everything!
We walked around Temple Square but most of the lights were not on. Guess we should have gone a few days earlier. However, we did get to see this beautiful display of the Nativity. So super pretty with the snow all around.

Brandon at the "This Is The Place" monument. It was neat to read all about the pioneers.
It was the perfect way to ring in the new year. Just perfect!

Christmas Day!

My little man had the best Christmas. Tons of presents and tons of love.

Lovin' the Pokemon stuff!

He loved his "Green Machine." Super cool and fun even for the adults! :)
At Grandpa's house. Brandon got some great P.J.'s from Grandpa and Mary. He had to put them on right away!
Opening gifts at Nana and Papa John's. His favorite gift had to be the Sea Monkeys!

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was full of family and fun. We have started some awesome new traditions that the kids really love! We did our "Night Before Christmas" game where all the cousins sit in a circle and as they listen to the story, they pass a little wrapped gift to the person next to them every time they hear the word "the" read. Whatever gift they end up with is theirs to keep. Here they are with their gifts. I love London in her new hat!

Then we did a white elephant gift exchange. Brandon got a fantastic gift...way to good to be a white elephant gift! Thanks Parker!

The cousins then dressed up and acted out the story of our Savior's birth. Uncle Eric read the story and the kids had a great time with their different parts.

Cute lil wise man!
Then we got to open some gifts. I made Aunt Julie and Uncle John open their presents- matching footie P.J.'s! They even matched Brandon!
After that, we had an awesome magic show put on by Parker. I am so lame for not taking pictures. It was great though! Brandon did some special demonstrations as well- he put Lego's together! ;) The night was filled to the brim with fun. We had so much yummy food as well. The last thing we did was get Santa's cupcakes ready for him and prepare some treats for the reindeer. Here is the plate of goodies for the deer- brownies for Comet (he does not like veggies!) and carrots for the rest of them!
Santa's cupcakes.
It was the most wonderful night, spent with the most wonderful people. :)

The lights on Thoroughbred Street

This year we decided to finally do what everyone always talks about. We went to see the lights on Thoroughbred Street! It was truly amazing! Just beautiful. We will most certainly be adding this to our long list of Christmas traditions.
Here is Brandon "licking" a giant lolly pop! The skeleton gloves? Really? :)
And again with the "mint" one.
They have some of the most amazing decorations I have ever seen.
My all time favorite decoration was the gingerbread men of course! LOVE THEM! WANT THEM!
