Brandon began his kindergarten adventure today. He and cousin London are set to begin their first year of "real school" on September 3rd! It is an exciting time for my little man and he can't wait to make new friends and learn new things. Today was a short 45min. introduction day, a chance for the students to see their school, the rooms, and meet the teachers and other students. The mommy's got to fill out information packets while the kids stayed in the classroom and explored their new territory. Before the parents left to do their "packet assignments," the Kindergarten teacher leading the little meeting asked the parents "Are their any questions before we get started?" My Brandon's hand was the only one raised. I looked at him thinking "what is he possibly going to ask?" What a brave little soul! He said "I have cousins...Becca, Parker and London. This is London." (pointing to his pal seated next to him) What a cutie pie he is! The teacher responded warmly with a smile asking "You two are cousins?" "Yep," came his reply. I just laughed a little and poked Wendy. She laughed too. This is going to be one exciting year!
