Brandon had a wonderfully spook-
tacular Halloween this year. Everything about kindergarten is so exciting and new, and our Halloween celebration was no exception. Here we are in the car on the way to school at 7:00am! Our fun began early that morning! I was the Cheshire cat from "Alice in Wonderland" and Brandon was the caterpillar.

I made some scary spider cupcakes for my little friends! Creepy!

The first event of the day was a parade around the entire school! Brandon felt like a rock star with everyone looking and smiling at him! After the parade, we went on a mini field trip to a teacher's house that was nearby, with a frightfully fantastic backyard! The little ones loved the popcorn balls that awaited them. We took cute pictures, ate our treats, and even saw a pet BAT!! That's right, this yard was decorated so well it even had
a bat sleeping soundly in its cage!

As you can see, they had a great time!

Mrs. K was a kindergarten super hero! What a great costume! She sure is
SUPER!
On our way back to school.

This little insect makes the cutest crossing guard.

After our field trip, we went into room 415 for some singing. We learned how to say "Hi to a Ghost," sang the "Look Out" song and many others that the kids know and LOVE.

Notice the twisted antenna. I love it.

When we were done singing, everyone went outside for a special brunch. They enjoyed muffins, cupcakes, grapes and apple juice.

After brunch, the kindergarten friends went back into the classroom for a fun "draw yourself in your costume" time. Brandon did such a great job on his self portrait. Too bad I didn't get a picture of it! All in all, the celebration was a huge success. Now, on to our evening festivities!

We went out to Newport for some family fun and trick-or-treating of course! Wendy, great idea! It was a BLAST!

"
Gottcha bread stick!" (Brandon refers to his antenna as bread sticks!)

I LOVE this shot! He is the cutest
caterpillar I have ever seen.

Alice and insect...tired but soooo happy!

They got so much candy that night! Brandon can't wait to do it again.
